“Blue Mountain is committed to growing participation in Alpine Sports throughout Ontario,” said Paul Pinchbeck, Vice President, Marketing, Blue Mountain Resort.  “Our Spring Renewal campaign is about providing flexible and affordable access to the slopes while ushering in a number of new benefits specific to Season Passholders.”  New to 5x7 and Super Passholders are year-round benefits including 15% off Blue Mountain Retail Stores and The Pottery and Jozo’s Restaurant, a Mountain Bike Pass priced at $129, two Active Packs priced at $129, 20% off midweek Resort lodging, and three rounds of midweek golf priced at $129.  To redeem those benefits specific to Blue Mountain’s green season, Passholders will receive a 2014 Summer Membership card via Guest Services upon the purchase of their Season Pass.

“The core philosophy behind Passholder benefits is access to the Resort and all of its offerings,” continued Pinchbeck.  Now available to Super Passholders are two Bring A Friend lift tickets for only $29.  Similarly, 5x7 Passholders are eligible to receive two Sunday Lift Tickets available for use on any Sunday in January 2015, if they purchase within the Spring Renewal period.

Passholders are encouraged to purchase before April 12, 2014 as the price points and all applicable benefits will expire once the Spring Renewal period comes to pass.  The next opportunity to purchase Season Passes will come in the Fall of 2014.

Blue Mountain’s snow base currently measure 140cm and with winter weather in the forecast, spring skiing and riding is a definite possibility.  While many Ontario ski hills close their doors following March Break, Blue Mountain promises to remain open for as long as conditions allow. Guests that purchase their pass during the Spring Renewal period will also receive discounted access to Blue following March 16, with lift tickets priced at $10.
