Celebrate a Record Snow Season

Blue Mountain to break record number of days on-snow, April 21, 2014.  As the saying goes: records are meant to be broken and the winter of 2014 is no exception to that rule.  Throughout the province, winter records have been shattered by cold temperatures and abundant snowfalls.  As of Monday, April 21st, 2014, another record is set to be broken as Blue Mountain celebrates 140 days on-snow.

“Blue Mountain’s last record-setting season dates back to the winter of 2008 with 139 days on-snow,” said Paul Pinchbeck, Vice President, Marketing, Blue Mountain Resort.  “Breaking the record this season is not only a testament to the tremendous winter we’ve had, but also a reflection of Blue Mountain’s commitment to alpine sports and long snow seasons.”

Guests of Blue Mountain are invited to celebrate the 2013/2014 season with a number of activities scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 19th, weather and conditions permitting.
